About us

The COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictive measures that followed, have put businesses in an unusual situation by making it difficult for them to do business and operations as usually.
Now, businesses inevitably have to adapt their operations to the new conditions, be they in terms of health and safety rules and standards, business model adaptation, digital transformation, internal management, or organizational culture.
Given that all businesses (especially the gastronomy) are affected by the pandemic, and on the other hand customers are insecure and afraid to be in those facilities, it is important to create a platform that helps them overcome the crisis, adapt to the new rules, and return to normalcy as soon as possible.
The Building Back Better – Realitet i Ri (New Reality) project attempts addressing the aforementioned challenges, through a collaboration of the United Nations Office with the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, and the implementing partner CiviKos.
The project in its entirety, but especially the web platform, aims to support businesses in identifying and implementing mandatory COVID-19 measures, in maintaining control at their workplace to stop the transmission of COVID-19, and in rebuilding the optimal business environment in this new reality we are living.
Part of the project are also the awareness campaign for disseminating the best hygienic and physical distancing practices for businesses and clients, health care and safety at work, as well as the role that businesses have in managing the pandemic and overcoming the crisis with more of an ease.
